In 2007, Proad was asked by the Ministry of Economic Affairs to help Taiwan win the opportunity to host the 2011 IDA Congress. Proad developed and designed all the communication materials for the competitive bid process, which placed emphasis on the design ability in Taiwan.
At the end of a very difficult competition, Taiwan was chosen from among 18 other cities from 12 countries around the world, including Paris, France and Melbourne, Australia, to be the host country.
