Wrapped Things

Around 150 guests attended the official opening event of the exhibition “Wrapped things” on April 20th in the Klingspor Museum Offenbach.
Together with the international GDS Partners, khdesign hosted a symposium with the topic “Branding – Packaging – Emotions” right before the opening of the exhibition. Clients and companies from the Rhine-Main area attended the symposium.
There, the GDS Partners delivered insight in several projects from their specific countries, also discussing their cooperation on several projects. Christopher Bailey (Bailey Brand Consulting, Philadelphia) presented the branding strategy for the Maxi-Scooter Vectrix and Jennifer Tsai (Proad Design, Taipei) gave a lecture on the specific needs of Taiwanese companies in the field of branding and packaging design.
Knut Hartmann presented several samples of the co-work with the Spanish GDS Partner and calligrapher Ricardo Rousselot, including the international project Ferrero Garden.
In connection with the symposium, the exhibition was opened by the museum’s director Dr. Stefan Soltek and the deputy of the cultural departmental head of the city, Mr. Ferdi Walter. Both thanked khdesign and the international GDS Partners for the exciting exhibition, supporting the multinational flair of Offenbach.
